About the Opportunity

We are looking to add a Construction Manager to our team to manage our project sites and help us deliver the best results for our clients. This role is crucial to Clearspace to help us scale and deliver on our mission.

About the Deliverables

  • Complete our projects on time and on budget!
  • Develop, manage & update project schedule incorporating all phases of the project cycle
  • Maintain processes to ensure project management documentation, reports & plans are relevant, accurate & complete
  • Tendering projects & tender analysis professionally & accurately
  • Responsible for sourcing, negotiating with & awarding to all contractors
  • Coordinate & ensure "off-site work" is performed according to criteria
  • Liaison RFI’s from trades to Engineers and Architects.
  • Liaison with architects & owners of appointed projects
  • Assist in preparing budgets
  • Active involvement in quality assurance with regards to understating and implementing policies & procedures
  • Provide status & progress reports to customer, project team, & management

About You

  • Experience in commercial office, industrial or institutional construction projects preferably either on-site or as a coordinator
  • Highly organized and able to work with modern systems and software
  • Strong interpersonal communication skills and experience collaborating with building management, trades, suppliers, inspectors, engineers and / or designers.
  • Resourceful with strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Proven ability to work under pressure.
  • Proven ability to delegate when necessary.
  • Teamplayer and willing to pitch in as necessary - this role will require flexibility to work evenings and weekends as required.
  • Valid Ontario driver’s license and insurance required.
